Polu Kai Services Awarded Department of Veterans Affairs – South Multiple Award Construction Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., – November 14, 2011 Polu Kai Services, (www.polukaiservices.com), was named as an awardee of the Construction Indefinite Delivery – Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The Department of Veterans Affairs – South awarded VA248-C-1889 Multiple Award Task Order to Polu Kai Services, LLC and thirteen other contractors. The value of the MATOC is NTE $100 million. Polu Kai Services, LLC will perform tasks which include maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property and new construction on either traditional bid-build or design build requirement. The work performed will take place at three VA Medical Centers located in Miami, San Juan and West Palm Beach. The period of performance will take place over a five year period.
